Eligibility Criteria

The service is free for Asian people who:

identify themselves as Asian
live in the catchment area of WDHB (North Shore, Waitakere, Rodney)
experiencing mental distresses
currently under the care of a specialist mental health service

Who can refer:

Waitematā DHB specialist mental health professionals including for the Acute teams, the PCLs, the Recovery (community) teams, the Liaison Psychiatry, MH ICU

Note:

AMHS is not an interpreting service. Please contact WATIS (Waitemata Translation and Interpreting Service) directly when an interpreter required.

How to refer

Through the online referral system on the AMHS website (email reply within 1 working day)
Online referral is a better way for faster processing
For the potential service users, they are supposed to visit their GPs first for a referral to the local specialist mental health service, and then a specialist clinician (e.g. the KW) could invite AMHS to the intervention
Instead of accepting direct referrals from community, mental health inquiries Related general inquiry including referral criteria and cultural advice on Asian cultures are available for anyone including the primary health professionals, an individual suffering from mental distress or their families/whanau by means of the phone number or email listed:

通过亚裔精神健康服务网页上的在线转介系统进行转介（转介在24小时内会通过电子邮件方式得到回复）。
如果您无法使用互联网，请传真至4871424. 不过在线转介是更直接高效的方式。
对于潜在的患者，请先访问您的家庭医生，由家庭医生转介到当地的精神健康医疗服务机构，然后相关临床医务人员(例如主要负责医疗人员)可以邀请亚裔精神健康服务加入治疗干预合作。
现阶段我们无法接受来自社区个人的直接转介，但是我们欢迎任何人士，包括初级保健专业人员、受到精神疾病困扰的个人及其亲朋好友，通过以下电话或电子邮件与我们联系，获取有关精神健康的信息，包括转介的标准和流程，以及关于亚洲文化方面的建议。

누가 서비스를 받을 수 있나요?

아시안 정신건강 서비스는 아래에 해당하는 아시안에게 무료로 서비스를 제공해 드립니다.

아시안으로서의 정체성을 갖고 계신 분
와이테마타 지역(와이타케레, 노스 쇼어 및 로드니에 거주하며 )
정신건강상의 어려움을 겪고 계시며
현재 정신건강 전문의 서비스를 받고 계신 분

누가 의뢰 할 수 있나요?

정신과 응급 서비스 팀 (Acute team, PCL), 커뮤니티 회복팀 (Recovery team)과 정신-신체의학 팀(Liaison Psychiatry)을 포함한 와이테마타 지역 정신건강 전문 의료진에서 의뢰할 수 있습니다.

참고 사항 :

아시안 정신건강 서비스는 통역 서비스가 아닙니다. 통역사가 필요할 경우 WATIS(Waitemata Translation and Interpreting Service)로 연락하십시오.

의뢰 방법

지역 보건부 웹 사이트 에서 온라인 의뢰를 할 수 있습니다. 온라인 의뢰 시스템을 통해 의뢰하면 24시간 이내에 회신 메일을 받을 수 있습니다

본 서비스 이용을 원하실 경우, 먼저 본인의 가정의와 상의한 후 그 의사가 지역 정신 건강 전문 서비스로 의뢰하게 됩니다. 그 이후, 의뢰받은 해당 서비스 팀 치료 담당자가 아시안 정신건강 서비스로 의뢰합니다.
커뮤니티로부터 직접 서비스 의뢰를 받고 있지는 않으나, 아시안의 문화적 조언이나 서비스 의뢰 방법등과 같은 정신건강에 관련하여 문의가 있는 분들 (일차 의료 기관, 정신건강상의 어려움을 겪고 계신 분과 그 가족등)은 이메일이나 전화로 문의하실 수 있습니다. 아래의 연락처를 참조하십시오.
